History
I’m a 1987 graduate of Webster Groves High School. In 1990, I joined the US Army. While in the Army, I served two tours of duty overseas. I participated in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Restore Hope. When I left the Army in 1993, I spent time in California for a few years where I worked for General Dynamics. I also managed a Night Club in Chula Vista, California. I moved back to the Saint Louis area in 1999.
I was having trouble with my AC service in 1999 and I called Welsch AC Service. I struck up a conversation with the field tech from Welsch and after talking to him for a bit, I decided that the HVAC field was very interesting. I expressed interest in pursuing a career in HVAC with field tech from Welsch and soon after that I joined an apprentice program in Local 36 Sheetmetal Workers union. I worked for Welsch Heating during my 4-year apprenticeship.
From 2004-2008 I worked with Degenhardt, R.F Meeh Co., and Arnold Stove & Fireplace.
In 2008 I started Archway Airsystems. In 2013, Archway Airsystems became Ambient Air LLC.
After 23+ years in the HVAC field, I still love what I do. Note that I run Ambient Air out of my home and that allows me to pass the savings on to you!
